The Art of Fly Fishing Made Easy

How I created a system that catches fish!!

Dear Fellow Angler,

I was a failure at fly fishing.  I’ve been fishing since I was a kid.  I have won tournaments fishing offshore.  I’ve got a drawer full of pictures of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Salmon and more.  Fly fishing was always on my list to try, but I was reluctant.  It is intimidating: Flies, Tippets, Bugs, Knots, Water Temperature, Dry or Wet, Streamer or Nymph – the list goes on and on.  I went to a class and learned how to set up my rod and learn to cast.  I did a couple of guide trips and caught some fish, but didn’t learn anything.  I wanted to do it myself.  I had the vision we all do of being out on a beautiful stream with just a rod and pack, casting a few times and start landing fish.

I tried – I really tried.  I got out there and it all fell apart.  I couldn’t remember what knot to tie, what the flies were called.  I would see bugs lying there and not know what they were to imitate.  I forgot how to tie the tippet to my leader.  I looked at the water and was clueless.  Where to start casting – upstream or downstream? Nothing worked and I got frustrated.  I almost gave up on it.  After spending the time and money to read the books and buy the videos it was really hard to have it fall apart as soon as I was out there.  I was:

  • Unsure what fly to tie on and what it was called
  • Confused by what knot to tie
  • Doing the wrong thing and not catching fish as a result
  • Unsure where to start
  • What to do next
  • Scared what to tell fellow anglers when they wanted to know what I was using and I didn’t know

I started making cheat sheets to take with me.  I started with pictures of the flies that I bought.  Diagrams of knots and some hand written notes.  I looked at what was on the market and bought the hatch guides and knot guides, but they didn’t give me the information I needed.  They were too much theory and not enough nuts and bolts.  I wanted to know what to do.  I saw an Iphone app that looks great until you drop your phone in the water.  This search led me to develop this guide.  It gave me confidence and Once I got the confidence  - I started catching fish!

This system is now available to you for the cost of 2 flies.

I received my order the other day and I’m very excited. The charts are more than I expected as far as the detail on them. Thank you for offering such a quality item at such a reasonable price. My son and I are just beginning our adventure in fly fishing and I know your charts are going to be used quite a lot.

Fishing for trout isn’t always easy. This information was worth going over more than just once that’s why I love these cards. They are very well written and quite precise. They’re always with me while I’m fishing. Since I’ve been using the StreamChart cards I have been consistently catching more trout. I’m so glad you have the passion for teaching people how to catch the elusive trout. The material gives detailed diagrams and tactics that increase the potential for my success. I can now read the water, know and matching the correct fly to the bug the fish are eating at the time, do the correct knot when needed and much more. This was definitely a good use of my time.

A fly fisherman at any level can learn from this information on these cards. They supply a good rundown of the equipment needed, as well as various fishing techniques and covers quite a bit of useful information in simple language with easy to understand advice. It’s a great teaching tool for those that want to catch more trout. This material has helped to develop my skills immensely. It has helped me understand the fundamentals of fly fishing for trout. The information on the bugs and how to evaluate the water was priceless. What a great addition to my fishing arsenal. I am much smarter for having read this and I am already starting to see results this year while fishing. Many Thanks!

Trout fishing is more technical than catching most other fish and I needed more guidance. Here you will find great information and so I recommend this for those just entering into Trout fishing as well as the advanced. This contains excellent illustrations which combined with the text explains how and where the water is most likely to have trout and how to go about catching them correctly. It’s very useful information and probably should be at your side if you have any interest in catching trout. These laminated cards are great. I felt like I was carrying cheat sheets with me. I’m spending a lot more time grabbing for my net than before because of them. Great Job!
